Wholehearted Living

This week i was interviewed by the beautiful soul, Iona Russell for Wholehearted Living Summit. 

In preparation for the interview I reflected on what it means to live wholeheartedly.  We all have our own unique way of expression.  These are mine.  I share them with the intention that it will prompt you to consider yours.  Conscious evolution at its best.

Living wholeheartedly means:-

  • to live with trust, follow your intuition and allow flow and grace into your life.  
  • Identify fear and replace with fearlessness, courage and embrace the outcomes.  Everything is a learning experience.  
  • most of all have fun, peace and balance.

3 tips on how to live a Whole Hearted Life

  • Trust your body, listen to nudges, especially if it knocks loudly from the inside/out (i.e.. pain)
  • Adopt a spiritual practice that makes you feel good and releases the fear when it seeps in.
  • Learn something new each day – it will fill you up and then share it.

Spiritual Practice supports whole hearted living by expanding awareness and delivering conscious evolution.

A Spiritual Practice can be as simple as 3 long deep breaths.  Add gratitude and intention.  One of my favourites 

  1. The first breath is to have gratitude for all I have learnt.
  2. The second breath is to have gratitude for all  I am learning.
  3. The third breath is to have gratitude for all that I will learn.

  • Always choose you.  
  • Be sacred with your energy and everything else will fall into place with grace and ease.

You Are Your Own Archaeological Dig.

I was listening to a guided meditation this morning and this phrase got my attention – you are your own archaeological dig. The author was referring to the self exploration process that creates your own self mastery. Getting to know yourself better each time you dig.

Dig what? you ask!

Dig deep to find the real You!

Over time a lot of us have got lost with familial societal expectations – we have forgotten what we expect of ourselves. We compromise, we please others first, we forsake ourselves for the sake of Harmony. Our wake up comes in the form of dis-harmony or dis-ease. This is called an awakening process. Where self realisation become self actualisation. Unless you dig deep, dust off some dirt, trust that there is treasure below, we will not get to the gold.

The treasure that shines. The YOU who glows. Speaks truths. Enjoys their own company and is free of dis-ease.

Challenging and icky emotions come up to be felt and cleared, which can cause energetic depletion before energetic enhancement is achieved.

Patience is required

Overall, by digging and washing away the stories, the sins, the karmic lessons, then comes consciousness, strength and enlightenment. In this state you can support others with a nobility and integrity which will energise you and energise others.

So go Dig your own archeological self – there are many parts of you which need to be uncovered and celebrated.

5 Reasons why Empaths must Meditate!

Empaths carry a lot of stuff around in their bodies and energy fields. Meditation is one way in which these energy attachments can dissolve. Ultimately to find the real you.  The permission to be sensitive and thrive is granted. No longer striving but thriving with soul nourishment and self care.

1. Reduces Stress

As all of us are plagued by negative and distracting thoughts – some of them, not our own, meditation is a simple process which allows these thoughts to leave and be replaced by a peace, transforming us from stressed out, carrying others to peace and tranquility, by activating the space in between. Neutral and full of love.

2. Meditation practice builds up the prefrontal cortex part if the brain.

This is responsible for impulses, self discipline and self awareness. It helps you to be more creative, productive and enhance your cognitive processes too.

3. Enhances Performance in Relationships, in Business and in Sport.

Calms you down so that you are to perform at peak. Grounds you so that you know that you able to perform.

You can make decisions from a relaxed state rather than a burdened, stressed, overwhelmed, fearful state.

It helps you to be more present. Being in the present moment will support you perform effortlessly and in alignment. Enjoying the process. Knowing your process. Supporting your energies. Feeling safe with this knowingness.

4. Enlightenment

Holding ego at bay so that your soul can shine.  The ego melts away. The judgment, the criticisms, the emotional baggage from those around you will melt away. So that you begin to see that if you enjoy self care, keep your boundaries close, you will feel safe, comfortable and happy.

5. Meditation engenders happiness.

Being happy within ourselves. Not needing or choosing external stimuli. Meditation is simple, clears your mind of thoughts, bad and good. Just is. You can just BE

Use meditation as your therapy. Notice things coming into your consciousness. Let them bubble up from your subconscious. Eventually ego let’s go, gives up and releases the old paradigms, old stories and limiting beliefs.

During meditation you are supporting your subconscious with the process of simply being and becoming conscious to these unwanted legacies of past wounds and hurts. The path to a glowing future. You can resolve a lot by breathing and allowing.
