March 13-14: Total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo – A powerful release and purification portal to clear outdated patterns and realign with higher purpose.

March 29: Partial Solar Eclipse in Aries – A bold activation portal calling us to to step into new beginnings with courage and clarity.

Eclipse Portal Ritual: Release, Activate, Align

Best performed anytime between March 13 to March 30, 2025

This ritual will guide through releasing the past (Lunar Eclipse) and stepping boldly into new beginnings (Solar Eclipse).

What you’ll Need

Two candles – one white (Virgo Full Moon, clearing energy) & one red (Aries New Moon, activating energy).
A bowl of water with sea salt (symbolising cleansing & surrender).
A small piecce of paper and pen.
A bay leaf or cinnamon stick (for burning and intention setting).
A crystal (moonstone for emotional balance or carnelian for action).

Step 1: Set Your Space

Light the white candle, take a deep breath and center yourself.
Say: “I open myself to the wisdom of this Eclipse Season. May what no longer serves me be released, and may I step into my highest alignment.”

Step 2: Release & Cleanse (Lunar Eclipse Energy)

Write down on a piece of paper What patterns, beliefs or attachments am I ready to release?
Hold the paper over the bowl of salted water and say: “I release with trust. I surrender with grace. The past no holds me.”
Submerge the paper into the water, visualising old energy dissolving.

Step 3: Activate & Manifest (Solar Eclipse Energy)

Light the red candle, holding your bay leaf or cinnamon stick.
Write one bold intention on the bay leaf.
Hold it over the flame (safely) and say: “With the flames of Aries I awaken my power. I step into action, aligned and unstoppable.”
Burn the bayleaf and visualise your future self stepping into power.

Step 4: Seal the Ritual

Blow out the white candle first (closing the past).
Let the red candle burn longer (activating the new).
Pour the water into the earth (or down the drain) with gratitude.
Hold your crystal and repeat: “I align. I trust. I step boldly into my destiny.”
