Part 3 – Break Through Upper Limits Series

Let’s get honest:

You can have the vision.
You can have the skills.
You can even have offers ready to go…

But if you have an unhealed receiving wound, abundance will always feel just out of reach.

What Is a Receiving Wound?

A receiving wound is an energetic or emotional block that makes it hard to accept support, money, opportunities, or even praise.

It often looks like:
💫 Feeling awkward or uncomfortable when someone offers help or compliments
💫 Discounting your services, undercharging, or giving away your time for free
💫 Sabotaging opportunities right before things start flowing
💫 Believing you have to “do more” to earn or deserve abundance

Sound familiar? You’re not alone, especially as a spiritual entrepreneur, where so much of your work is personal, heart-led, and energetically vulnerable.

Why Receiving Feels So Hard

Receiving isn’t just about money, it’s about your relationship with worthiness, boundaries, and self-trust.

For many of us, old patterns run deep:

✨ Childhood conditioning: Were you taught to work hard for everything? To put others first? To believe ease was selfish?
✨ Ancestral patterns: Your lineage might carry scarcity stories, beliefs around survival, sacrifice, or “not enough.”
✨ Nervous system responses: If your body associates receiving with vulnerability or exposure, it can trigger fight, flight, or freeze patterns, even when abundance is knocking.

And here’s the kicker:

If you can’t receive from yourself, your own time, energy, intuition, how can you fully receive from others, or from the universe?

Healing the Receiving Wound Starts With You

The first step isn’t external, it’s internal.

Try this:

🌿 Pause. Acknowledge where you already give generously, but struggle to receive.
🌿 Practice receiving from yourself, your own care, your own time, your own magic.
🌿 Shift your self-talk:
“It’s safe to receive.”
“My work is valuable, and I’m worthy of being supported.”
“Receiving allows me to give more sustainably.”

Every time you honour your time, set a boundary, accept a compliment, or allow money to flow toward you, you rewire the old story.

Business is a Receiving Practice

Your business isn’t just about sharing your gifts, it’s an energetic invitation to RECEIVE in return.

Money, opportunities, support, they’re part of the same current. The more you practice opening to them, the more they flow.

And remember:

Receiving isn’t selfish. It’s sacred.

When you allow abundance in, you can serve, give, and show up from a full, aligned space, not burnout or depletion.
