Have you ever experienced gut issues you can’t quite explain?

Bloating. Tightness. Nausea. Sesnitivities. A constant churn of anxiety or tension in your belly – even when everything on the surface seems fine?

Sometimes, what your body is trying to tell you . . .

Didn’t start in this lifetime.

Opening Note:

This blog weaves together my personal journey and what I’ve witnessed over years of guiding others as a Medical Intuitive and Spiritual Growth Coach.  Our bodies – especially our gut – often carry more than we realise. They carry the echoes of memory, intuition and healing across lifetimes.

The Body Remembers What the Mind Cannot

The gut is more than a digestive organ.  It’s an energetic gateway. A sensory field. A place where emotion, intuition and protection live side by side. In spiritual work, we often call the gut the second brain. But it’s also a stoage center for past life memory – especially the kind that was never resolved, expressed or safely held.  When the voice is silenced, the gut often speaks instead.

When the Gut Holds Ancient Pain

I’ve witnessed time and again in past life regression, energy work and medical intuition session. People with unexplained gut symptoms are often carrying the residue of a wound that didn’t begin in this life.

This can include:

  • Being gutted or disemboweled in a past life (as punishment, ritual or wartime trauma)
  • Experiencing betrayal or abandonment that centered around the belly or core
  • Dying from starvation, poisoning or invasive procedures
  • Holding deep emotional grief that was nver expressed – especially for women womb-bearers and seers

Modern Symptoms of an Ancient Wound

These unresolved energies can manifest physically as:

  • IBS or digestive discomfort
  • Nervous belly/anxiety that lives in teh gut
  • Fear of being seen or exposed (especially if you’ve shared your truth before and it wasn’t safe)
  • Difficulty trusting your gut instincts or making decisioins
  • A sense of “not being able to stomach” certain people, ideas or emotions.

These aren’t just symptoms.

They are messages.

They are invitations to go deeper – not just physically, but energetically and spiritually.

The Gut as a Portal of Power

The beauty of this work is that once we meet the wound, it begins to loosen its grip.  The gut doesn’t just hold pain.  It holds power.

  • it’s where your intuition speaks first
  • it’s where your boundaries are formed
  • it’s where your discernment lives.

And when you acknowledge what it’s been carrying – perhaps for lifetimes – you allow it to return to its true role as a sacred compass.

Simple Ritual: Listening to the Gut’s Wisdom

You will need:

  • A quiet space
  • One hand over your belly
  • A journal or a voice memo app

The Ritual

1. Sit or lie down in stillness.

2.Place your hand over your belly.

3. Take a few deep breaths and ask silently or aloud “What are you holding for me?” “Is this mine, or is it older than me?” “What would you like me to release?”

4. Let the answers arise without forcing. Don’t judge what comes.

5. When you feel complete, thank you gut. Say: “Thank you for protecting me. I hear you. I honour you. I release what no longer belongs in this field.”

6. Drink water, take a walk, or place your hands on the Earth to close the ritual.

The Gut Doesn’t Lie – But It Might Be Speaking a Language Older Than Words

If your gut has been trying to gete your attention, consider this your invitation to listen. When food, rest or medicine doesn’t seem to ease the discomfort . . . The soul may be asking to be heard.  You don’t need to figure it all out.  You just need to remember. Because your gut doesn’t just digest food – it digests life, intuition, energy and memory. And it might be holding the last thread of a wound your soul is ready to release.
